Doctor Who

An original boot used in the production of the long running BBC television series Doctor Who.

From the 1982 serial Four to Doomsday starring Peter Davison as The Doctor this boot was worn on screen by his companion Adric played by Matthew Waterhouse as part of his spacesuit costume toward the end of the story. The space boot is a Baita boot with large tread which has been sprayed silver by the BBC wardrobe department, lined to the interior with thick foam and inscribed to the rear 'BBC' in black pen.

The boot stands approximately 13" tall and remains in good condition overall with some wear to the top and minor paint loss.
