Thomas and Friends

An original prop from the production of the long running children's television show Thomas the Tank Engine which later became Thomas & Friends.

These original number decals were created by the production for use on the larger gauge 3.5 models which were built circa 1996 for use in a potential feature length production. Only Thomas and Percy were built in this scale and this sheet contains a number for each of the engines, printed on two part media of paper and plastic, likely a waterslide transfer the top is type written '1 and 6 red & yellow'. These large scale engines would go on to be used on screen in the main series, later features such as The Great Discovery and Jack and the Sodor Construction Company.

The sheet measures approximately 3.5" x 3" with each decal being an impressive 1.5" high, they remain in good unused condition with some minor separation to part of the number 6, otherwise fine.

A displayable and interesting artefact from this popular children's television series.
