Saving Private Ryan

An original costume used in the production of Saving Private Ryan, the 1998 war epic directed by Steven Spielberg.

Jackets such as this can be seen worn by the 2nd Ranger Battalion throughout the movie, the khaki military jacket features the 'RANGERS' battalion insignia patch to the left shoulder and is stamped to the interior 'US ACAD' for Academy Costumes and size medium.

The jacket remains in very good condition exhibiting minor soiling consistent with use during the production, most notably to the collar, otherwise fine.

A fine example of original wardrobe from this highly regarded modern day classic which was the recipient of five Academy Awards.
