Band of Brothers

An original prop used in the production of Band of Brothers, the 2001 American war drama series which saw Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks collaborate as executive producers.

Helmets such as this can be seen worn by members of the 101st Airborne Division throughout the series, supplied to the production by Academy Costumes the helmet is constructed from metal and features the spade insignia of the division to both sides. The helmet is accompanied by a distressed scrim net and an original liner which is stamped to the interior 'US ACAD' for Academy Costumes, the helmet also features an applied tape to the interior which is ink stamped 'B O B' for Band of Brothers.

The helmet  measures approximately 11" x 9.5" x 7" and remains in excellent production used condition exhibiting expected surface wear.

A rare and highly displayable artefact from this highly regarded series.
