Gin rummy score sheet
An original prop from the production of the 1964 James Bond picture Golfinger starring Sean Connery as the suave spy.
This is an original gin rummy score sheet as seen used in the sequence where Goldfinger (Gert Frobe) plays cards with Simmons (Austin Willis) at the Hotel Fontainebleau in Miami Beach and is discovered cheating by Bond when he meets Jill Masterson (Shirley Eaton) before her now iconic demise, this sequence filmed at Pinewood Studios rather than on location in Florida.
The traditional gin rummy score sheet is printed on thin off white paper and features the logo and name of the Hotel Fontainebleau to the top in stylised writing. The sheet measures approximately 8.5" x 5.5" and remains in excellent condition having been backed by white card exhibiting only very minor wear and age related toning to the edges, overall very fine.
A rare artefact from the production of what is arguably the most popular picture of this celebrated franchise.
