Aliens

An original miniature used in the production of Aliens, the second instalment in the popular Alien franchise directed by James Cameron.

This panel formed part of the Hadley's Hope colony miniature constructed at approximately 1:12 scale, cast in grey resin and features a doorway with various panel detail and a heavily weathered paint finish to appear dirty and rusty, these used in both orientations on the complex miniature. To the verso the panel features traces of glue and cardboard where it was attached to the miniature set during the production.

The panel measures approximately 9.5" x 6" and remains in good production used and weathered condition, very fine.

A highly displayable and detailed miniature artefact from this science fiction classic which won the 1986 Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.
